Cadence was hired to facilitate and finalize an audit that was requisite to the sale of Hemphill Trucking in 2006. The company had been ensnarled in a massive audit that ground to a complete halt after seven months of intensive work due to inconsistent financials. Ensuing a rather nasty confrontation with buyers, owners, respective legal counsel and accountants, Cadence was retained to sort through the maze of five years of records and bring the audit to a conclusion. To their credit and the relief of all involved, Cadence accomplished the task in less than three weeks and the sale was finalized.
